Hi there! I’m a veteran lost in a WordPress site, someone turn the page and let me out!! Really, Pam and I are splitting my site and she is creating www.k9sforveterans.org, for most everything anyone will need to know about getting one of our dogs. When she is done the “re-direct” will be turned off and our two sites will be seperated, as they should be.
Really I have decided to switch my old site that everone said it was “great”, and ”Professional” looking, and did do a lot of things ie social media connections, RSS feeds and a ton more,, but,, I have to keep the “playground” in a place in my head,, as you all know, I am a 100% disabled veteran,, and due to one of my issues I have a short term memory problem,, come on now,, so far I have been able to handle it pretty good, but now a day with all the LMAO, RSS, like Twitter, Linkedin, and my favorite is FaceBook at Halleys k9s for veterans, visit us, it gets to be overwhelming, so, I think WordPress will keep my playground smaller, with a lot of things within my reach and not sending me into a tail spin. I will also be able to get quality help if I need it fast.
I plan to put several gallerys up, “Who I am” , “The Kennel”, “The Why”, “The Dogs”, and as of today I do not know how many seperate gallerys I can have in this theme, I hope there is no limit, time will tell.
I would love to get back on the “AIR” via ham radio, most of you know I have been a licensed radio operator since 1972, and am current today with my old original call sign of WB9SLW, so in the near future I hope to find a good used HF rig, I am using my “old” iCom ic-V8000 for 2M for now.
More to come shortly!!

I was trying to get information about your program. Do you have flyers or information about we can refer Veterans to your program.
Yes,, we are building new websites as we type,, I sure wish it was done now, but we wanted to get the sites up and running,, we will get it right as we go. We have the usual business, and some very nice hand-outs, can you give us an address or call Pam at 813-503-8861.
Mike
I think this is a great thing you are doing.
We have recently have had a shelter dog, here with us did not adopt it ourselves until the girl took off and left it.
It is a Blue Heeler Pointer mixture.
He has had all of his shots, and has been fixed. We have named him Duke.
Sorry to say that Duke will have to go back to the shelter.
He is to big for the owner of the house.
We really don”t want to see that happen.
If you have room for one more he is a good loving dog.
We only want the best for Duke.
If interested you can e-mail me. Or call 941-474-8632.
Thank you,
Leslie Taylor
Good morning Leslie, thank you for thinking about us, but we are currently at full in the kennel, but our operation only uses “working” dogs, mainly Doberman Pinschers, Standard Poodles, Boxers, we have used other breeds but I am kind of partial to the Dobies, I am with my personal Dobie now who is 7 years old and is also my 7th Doberman!
I see your phone number,, are you a rescue in the Bradenton area?
Thank you again

Hi Mike, I love what you guys are doing and I would like to see how I go about applying for a service dog. I currently am 70% disabled Veteran. I also couldn’t find the Facebook page. Can you send the link?

Mr. Halley,
Currently I am trying to find a home for my sister’s dog that she and her husband adopted but have not had time to put into training her. She is a black lab/Shepherd mix. I would keep her if I didnt already have 3 American Staffordshires already. She is 10 months old, Spayed and Chipped per Hillsborough County animal services proceedures for adopting out a dog. If at all possible, please let me know if you are interested.
Thank you for your thinking about us, we are really full at this time and our kennels are full to the brim!!! If you would like to send me pictures and data about the dog,, and contact info, we would be glad to post, maybe that would help.
Sorry,
Mike
